World Bank tax reforms in support of the Development Policy Operation (DPO) Consultants Visit Ministry of Revenues Branch offices.Mr. Osman Mohamed, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Ministry of Revenue (MoR), led a World Bank Delegates Mr David Norman and Hafiz Choudhury on a visit to the Large Taxpayers and the Southwest Addis Ababa Small Taxpayers Branch.
During the visit, branch managers and their teams provided a comprehensive overview of their respective tax operations. The discussions focused on key areas such as auditing processes, risk management, and the practice of tax administration.
Mr. Osman Mohamed emphasized the significance of the engagement, noting that gaining a deeper understanding of branch operations is crucial for strengthening the tax operational framework and aligning with international best practices.
